In April, 1998 the doctors told me that I was expecting you.I was so happy that i called everyone i knew, and din't know.I glowed so much with pride, the thoughts of my first child clouded my mind.I bought things for you, i searched names that would fit you.I knew you would be special, i knew it because you were all mine. I visited the Women's clinic of Columbia through out my waiting for your birth.Nurse Jana laughed at me, for my first question was always how much longer will it be, I was so exicited to hold you in my arms each day felt longer and longer.It never crossed anyones mind that you may be different, for you were already special to me. I had 2 adult friends that were also expecting, and Aunt Nikky too.We were all very close, but out of all the children you came last. On dec. 1, 1999 i visited WMCenter, only to find that I was 8 and a half centameters, an hour later i held you in my arms for the very first time. I was scared to death for i had never held a baby so new, so mine.
