Today was Zeke's 4th grade grad. and he was honored at Monticello Elem. School at 9 am.I was very nurves, and emotional as I entered the program. As Ms. Funches walked in she noticed me and came, sat next to me.We chatted a few mintues and the lights become deem, then she dissapeared. Ms. Cindy Car, the principal came on stage and said" This year we lost a 4th grade student that went to Heaven,Ezekiel Zeke Powell, and his classmates would like to dedicate this program to him."I cried as I watched his teacher walk onto the stage,She spoke and said "I would like to honor his mother Ms. Bass with these flowers, would you please stand Ms. Bass?" I really cried then and she walked off the stage and handed me a beautiful vase full of flowers.Then the 4th grade sang I Believe I can Fly! The school has been so wonderful to us, I thank them so much.
